About Me

Where My Story Began

Where my story began:

Singapore’s humidity paired with spending most of my day in air-conditioning have always placed extra strain on my sensitive skin and naturally dry, colour-treated hair. I needed bedding that wouldn’t pull, dehydrate, or irritate — and that’s what first led me to silk.

But over the years, I realised many silk products didn’t hold up. They felt beautiful at first but they didn’t last. With repeated washing and daily use, they lost their smoothness, thinned out, or simply didn’t hold up the way true silk should.

So I began researching silk grades, momme weights, fibre quality, and manufacturing standards. The deeper I looked, the clearer the problem became: many products labelled as “premium silk” were actually low-density silk or blends, even when the packaging suggested otherwise.

I wanted something better — consistent, resilient, and genuinely beneficial for nightly rest.

That’s why I created Lune & Luna: to reimagine silk not as an accessory, but as a ritual. I chose 25 momme, Grade 6A mulberry silk — denser, more durable, and more luxurious than what most brands offer — because I wanted something that truly cares for the skin and hair that rest on it every night.

More Than a Product, A Feeling

I didn’t want to create just another pillowcase.
I wanted to create a feeling.

✨ The feeling of ending your day on something soft, calm, and safe.
✨ The feeling of having one little ritual that’s yours.
✨ The feeling of waking up and seeing a real difference in your skin and hair.

And because I believe deeply in intention, I sew a quiet affirmation inside each care label, a whisper just for you, reminding you of the woman you are becoming.

From One Woman to Another

If you’re here, reading this, maybe you’re a little like me, investing in skincare and not wanting it to go to waste on rougher fabrics, wanting something that truly works, and knowing deep down that you deserve to rest beautifully.

When you choose Lune & Luna,
you’re not buying a pillowcase.
You’re giving yourself a ritual —
one that’s intentional, lasting, and designed to love you back.

Here’s to the nights that heal us,
and the mornings that reflect it.

With warmth,

Ning
